Description

An excellent and very showy, floater scepter quartz crystal from the Messina mine, richly including bright native copper leaves and red hematite. On the surfaces, it has also other multiple euhedral crystals of copper sulphides, likely bornite, chalcocite &/or chalcopyrite. The quartz is doubly-ended and in very good condition, with just minor erosions, with an scepter development at one side.

Found in 1991, it was acquired in 1992 by Rik Dillen to Willy Israël.
