Description

Lustrous metallic pentlandite patches in a matrix of brassy magnetic pyrrhotite, from the rare Russian Pechenga Ni-Cu ore deposit. There are some black lustrous crystals of unidentified species, some with curious curved surfaces.

Acquired in 1973 to Stenelux by Wilfred Moorer (1945-2015) #1899.
