Description

Rich specimen from Löhley with wide cavities completely covered by thousands of crystals. They are: gorgeous perovskite crystals, transparent hexagonal nepheline crystals, tabular bottle green augite crystals, transparent fluorapatite needles, octahedral magnetite, etc. The perovskite crystals are black to brownish red, spiky octahedral, forming very aerial dendritic aggregates with numerous twinned crystals, with lustrous surfaces that show a strong iridescence.

Collected by Manfred Fabig in 1979. Ex Rik Dillen stock.
