Description

This piece displays numerous well-developed microcrystalline aggregates, forming fine, lustrous clusters ranging from dark ochre to golden brown depending on light and angle.

Although santabarbaraite is typically amorphous or very finely crystalline, this specimen shows an unusually well-organized structure, with clearly defined fibrous and granular formations. A gentle silky to matte lustre enhances the contrast with the lighter matrix, creating an attractive and visually refined micromount.
