Description

Outstanding carminite specimen on beudantite, from the renowned Montmins deposit, one of the most important French localities for iron and lead arsenates.

The carminite occurs as spectacular rosettes of bladed to acicular crystals, displaying a deep carmine-red to dark red-brown coloration with a striking vitreous to silky luster. The rosettes are abundant, well-formed, and evenly distributed across the specimen, creating a highly aesthetic overall appearance.
