Description

Isolated carletonite crystal displaying a deep, intense blue color with well-formed faces and a vitreous to slightly pearly luster. Partial transparency reveals internal cleavages and a sharp crystalline structure, characteristic of this rare sodium–calcium–potassium silicate. The absence of matrix enhances the purity of the color and the crystal geometry, emphasizing both its aesthetic appeal and mineralogical rarity.
