Description

Micromount featuring well-defined zincite crystals displaying an uncommon yellow-green to olive-green coloration for the species. The crystals show prismatic to tabular habits and occur in compact clusters within a complex matrix composed of pale secondary minerals and darker altered zones, characteristic of zinc oxidation assemblages.

This specimen originates from the Arnsberg mining district, North Rhine–Westphalia, Germany, a classic locality known for its distinctive micrometric zincite occurrences.
