Description

Micromount featuring a well-crystallized manganite aggregate with strong metallic luster. The crystals display short prismatic to tabular habits, with sharp edges and well-defined faces producing bright steel-grey to silvery reflections. The group is firmly set on a compact dark matrix, characteristic of manganese oxide mineralization.

This specimen originates from Eiserfeld, Siegerland district, North Rhine–Westphalia, Germany, a classic locality known for high-quality manganite micromounts. The clear crystal definition, good aesthetic balance, and typical paragenesis make this piece a solid and representative addition to a systematic or metallic minerals collection.
