Description

Outstanding liroconite micromount from the legendary Wheal Gorland Mine, a world-famous classic locality known for producing the finest specimens of this iconic copper mineral. The crystals display a vivid turquoise to deep azure blue coloration, with exceptional saturation and a striking visual impact, combined with high translucency to transparency.

The crystallization is particularly attractive, featuring well-formed, sharply defined crystals with bright, lustrous faces, arranged in a dense and visually balanced composition. The specimen is in excellent condition, with strong natural contrast that enhances both color intensity and crystal definition.

A rare and highly desirable micromount, representing a historic British mineral classic, perfectly suited for advanced collectors and high-end mineral displays.
