Description

Fine British micromount featuring well-formed witherite (BaCO₃) crystals, white to colorless and translucent, with a vitreous to slightly pearly luster.

The crystals show a typical tabular to pseudo-hexagonal habit, due to common twinning in witherite, occurring as small groups inside a cavity. Faces are sharp, with subtle growth striations visible under magnification. The specimen sits on a pale matrix, giving a clean and highly photogenic look.

A classic English locality specimen, sought after by micromount collectors for the quality of crystallization.

In a box 2.8x2.8cm, labelled

FoV : 2.8mm

Shipping to the USA :

Recently all my padded letters came all back to me, in fact, they are normally only for "gifts" so they are not going through customs anymore (and warned me of a fee ..).

From now on, all shipping to the US will be made in packages, only way to send to your country.

I can offer to wait before to ship if needed
