Description

Rosette-like aggregates of lamellar baryte crystals, forming delicate fan-shaped structures in creamy white to pale beige tones. The surfaces of the baryte are finely coated with countless tiny bright yellow vanadinite crystals, giving the specimen a sparkling, dusted appearance.

The contrast between the layered baryte rosettes and the vivid yellow vanadinite microcrystals creates an attractive and characteristic association for the locality. The specimen is set within a light matrix composed of translucent grey to white crystals.

From Judkins Quarry, a British locality known for its secondary lead mineralization and vanadate minerals.
