Description

Three translucent red beryl crystals (the largest is just under 1 cm) in contrasting white rhyolite matrix. Red beryl, also called bixbite, is the rarest color of the mineral species and only occurs in Utah. The red beryl crystal is prismatic hexagonal form with flat pinacoid terminations.
