Description

The specimen has a long narrow wedge of banded iron stone covered along opposite lengths by a deposit of celestine on hematite and hausmannite. Everything beautiful, elongate delicate needles and needle clusters of slightly blue tinted celestine in a dense deposit. The hematite are inclined to occur on one side of the specimen. On the opposite side nicely lustrous crystals of pyramids of hausmannite up to 7mm with lustrous surface planes.
