Description

The specimen has a deposit of prismatic crystals of sturmanite with prismatic crystals of calcite on a matrix of iron ore. The sturmanite crystal habit has stubby hexagonal prismatic crystals. The sturmanite has a golden yellow colour in very gemmy crystals. Stubby prismatic crystals always have an arresting presence. The largest crystal to 7mm. There is some minor abrasions on some of the crystals.
