Description

The specimen is a compacted mass of crystals together of both hematite and hausmannite. The outer surface largely consists of complex pyramidal crystals of hausmannite made up of numerous smaller crystals of pyramidal hausmannite. Hematite crystals are more evident on the underside and follow a complex habit. The complex hausmannite crystals are more or less 0.7cm on edge and some of them do have abrasions.
