Description

The specimen has an appealing presentation of opal-an on schorl. The opal-an is spread generously overall in typical globular growths as well as some delicate vermiform masses. The opal-an best seen under microscope. Orthoclase makes for a sturdy base for the schorl which has a prominant V twinned pair of prismatic crystals.
