Description

The specimen has calcite on chalcedony over smithsonite, the smithsonite being the source for the greenish tint in the material. The chalcedony appears as tiny botryoidal aggregates including aggregates over columnar trigonal smithsonite crystal forms. These turrets are clear under magnification.
