Description

The specimen has the appearance of something built from a modular unit such as bricks. In this instance the unit of building was dipyramidal hexagonal disc crystals of sturmanite. On the front side a series of cave-like hollow forms are put together in mass form and in lining the cavities with hexagonal discs one upon the other or next to each other. The sturmanite is nearly all opaque caramel coloured crystals and masses. There are scattered concentrations of tiny crystals of hausmannite with manganite on both sides of the specimen.
