Description

An overall deposit of small rhombic crystals of calcite with inclusions of duftite, malachite and red iron oxides. The matrix consists of shallow shelves of massive dolomite and weathered limonite/goethite crusts and inclusions. Overall the malachite is present as inclusions in calcite and does not appear on matrix. The duftite has small globular clusters on matrix as well as being included in the calcite. The calcite crystals are small with good width to depth to height ratios. The red oxides and the green duftite are a good colour contrast on the specimen.
