Description

The specimen consists of a small cluster of smoky quartz on schorl that is grown over with well formed bulging reniform growths and clusters of opal-AN. The free form globular structures are relatively high in proportion to the quartz and schorl crystals. Mostly the opal covers the crystal terminations. The opal clusters are very neatly formed and the material very clear with a daytime fluorescent colour and sheen.
