Description

A columnar turret of dolomite that has stalagmatic pipes up the sides and an inner core of dolomite that appears was a replacement process. The base presents a cross section of the core. Currently the core is made up of dolomite, both the inner core and the outer circle between the two dolomite zones through is an earthy red colour material, the black layer that wants to be 'coppery', but is also has the colour of some willemite. The outer deposit is a shell of very pure dolomite which carries a deposit of small blocky and elongate crystals of olive green duftite and if one goes to the termination hollow at the top occurs with small rhombic calcite crystals. There are a couple of abrasions on the top.
