Description

The specimen is a fragment of matrix with an edge revealing exposed skorpionite elongate crystals on small bladed spears of tarbuttite. The skorpionite crystals are flat and elongate and display as small erratic sprays. The material is lustrous and clear. The tarbuttite bladed spears protrude upwards and are a light greenish colour. Not a common species from the mine which closed at the end of 2019.
