Description

The specimen consists of a small radial spray of bladed crystals of chrysocolla pseudomorph after azurite. The largest crystal is 2.9cm by 1.8cm by 0.5cm. The bladed habit of the crystals is what is impressive along with the turquoise colour of the chrysocolla. There is a thin crust of chrysocolla firstly and then a layer of small tubercles of chrysocolla growing upwards. This specimen is from the initial discoveries.
