Description

The specimen has two generations of malachite with chrysocolla on cobaltoan calcite. The contrast in the crystal habits for the malachite make for a rather eye catching specimen. The colour also is varied with malachite green on the rounded botryoidal crystal form and dark green-black on the tabular rosette whorl of crystals. The matrix has opaque cobaltoan calcite over a brown calcite on a multiphase crystallization.
