Description

The specimen has hematite from a rather special pocket in 2005. The hematite with columnar pseudohexagonal crystals in association with calcite and strontianite. This unique crystal habit is attached to lamellar hematite and andradite matrix. Although the hematite crystals are embedded, the habit of their columnar forms is explicit. The hematite have metallic luster. The largest crystal measures 2.4cm.
