Description

The specimen has an interesting presentation of botryoidal kolwezite deposited over scalenohedral crystals of cobaltoan calcite. The specimen has a large, roughly wedge-shaped surface with all of the surface calcite covered by kolwezite, with underlying crystal shapes showing through. The kolwezite has a rich brown velvety colour.
