The story of this specimen: (quoting Ryan Lay) "I bought this piece from Gary Harris in 04 at the Tucson show for 1800 I sold it to a fellow in Florida. Is it for sale? Its from the upper part of the mine violet claims mine the Harris's own. Gary said it wouldn't be worth cutting and I'm glad I didn't. So nice to see again!! Such a beauty~...". Then via Jasun Mc Avoy auctions, he went to England by a collector who has contended it with me, quickly "convinced" by me to sell it, now finally in Italy. Simone Citon Collection and photo.
