Intense purple color over a core of yellow, the cubic crystals are lustrous with stepped faces and contain inclusions of chalcopyrite and barite. Three 15 - 20 mm wide masses of chalcopyrite crystals are present on the surface of the specimen. Damage to individual crystals is minimal and restricted to the edges of the specimen.
