Description

This is a fantastic fehrite and connellite specimen - especially under a lense ore microscope. It comes from a very old small mine in Andalucia, Spain.

Typical bluegreen fehrite crystals with tiny blue hedgehogs of connellite on matrix.

Specimen was XRD, EDS and electrone microprobe analyzed and is evectively a solid solution of the Connellite-Buttgenbachite series - more on the connellite side for this specimen.

With minor serpierite.
