This striking specimen consists of a delicate cluster of acicular (needle-like) selenite crystals, a transparent variety of gypsum. The most remarkable feature is the intense, emerald-green colouration, which is caused by copper mineral inclusions. The crystals exhibit a sharp, elongated habit and a brilliant, vitreous lustre.
