Description

Tapiaite is an extremely rare, hydrous calcium aluminum arsenate mineral, first officially described in 2015. It is white to light gray and crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system. On this specimen, tapiaite forms small, colorless crystals together with joteite on mansfieldite.
