Description

Here we have a very attractive alpine combination specimen from Tyrol, featuring a sharply defined and lustrous adular crystal with a subtle green chlorite coating along parts of the surface. The adular shows well-developed crystal faces with good definition and a clean, bright appearance. Attached on one side is a small but fine smoky quartz crystal, adding contrast and mineralogical interest to the piece. The combination of adular and smoky quartz, together with the light chlorite overgrowth, makes this a very appealing specimen, especially for collectors of Alpine material.
