Description

A very attractive prase quartz cluster from Greece. The specimen reaches over 12 cm in height and consists of several intergrown crystals. Some of the crystals are joined at the base, while others are partially intergrown toward the upper parts of the cluster, creating a compact and sculptural formation.

The crystals display the characteristic intense green coloration typical for prase quartz. The surfaces show a pleasing natural luster that enhances the color and gives the piece a striking visual presence. Structurally the specimen is well preserved. Only minor damage is visible near the bottom where a few small contact breaks are present. These are limited to the base and are not visually distracting.

Prase quartz from Greece has become increasingly difficult to obtain on the market, especially in larger and well developed clusters such as this example.
