Description

A beautiful alpine combination from Austria featuring two rock crystal quartz crystals that are intergrown at the base and spread outward in a V shaped formation. Both crystals display excellent clarity and a bright natural luster, emphasizing the elegant growth of the pair.

The crystal faces show fine surface structures and well developed terminations, giving the specimen a very clean and sharp appearance. The fan like arrangement of the two crystals creates a particularly aesthetic composition.

At the base of the quartz crystals sits well crystallized pericline, adding a pleasing contrast to the transparent quartz. This combination results in a highly aesthetic alpine specimen of very good quality and strong visual appeal, especially desirable for collectors of Austrian minerals.
