Description

Here we have a very unusual and attractive amethyst from the Zillertal in Tyrol, Austria. Although small in size, the specimen shows a very distinctive growth.

Two likely scepter amethyst crystals are present and appear intergrown at the top termination. The crystals meet and merge in a very unusual way, giving the piece a unique and rarely seen form. Such formations from the Zillertal alpine clefts are uncommon and make this specimen particularly interesting.
