Description

Drusy group of complex dark honey-coloured crystals of sphalerite with very well defined edges and intense lustre. The transparency is good, and crystals are deep red to caramel brown if backlighted. It is richly associated to pale brown siderite crystals, white lenticular calcite and minor golden microcrystalline chalcopyrites.

Found in 1991 by Francisco Maello (ES). Troya mine is now inaccessible and was closed in 1993.
