Description

A marvelous specimen of vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They are from purple to apple-green. The crystals are gemmy, with a strong luster and are well shaped. The vesuvianite is very fresh and sparkling. The tabular diopside crystals on the back side are sharp and amber colored. It is a complete all over. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.

Fascinating!
