PLEASE PAY YOUR INVOICE UPON THE RECEIPT OF INVOICE OR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This is common courtesy when partaking in a business transaction. It is disrespectful to wait weeks and months for payment. We can combine shipping but ask that you still pay your invoice in a timely matter. You will not be charged shipping again. This helps us separate who is a serious bidder from someone who will not plan on paying. We have a business to run. You can request your package to be held for up to 3 weeks of auctions to accumulate items without being charged additional shipping outside of the increased cost due to weight. We ship internationally to as many countries as possible but sometimes issues arise due to the nature of the minerals we sell and the high import fees to certain countries. Shipping is costly and we do use extensive packaging for large and delicate specimens. Many times we end up paying more for shipping than the customer is charged. We are unable to ship by air due to regulations for these types of minerals. The buyer should understand that the shipping time can take up to a month for international shipping in many cases due to the slow nature of shipping by cargo ship. Orders will be shipped within one week of payment being received but usually go out the next business day. We use secure and proper packaging in accord with all regulations for such minerals. It is the buyers responsibility to know all rules and regulations of the country they reside in. If customs takes a package it is usually difficult to get released and the buyer absorbs any loss. International packages also are not able to be insured in most cases. We have shipped to over 10 different countries at this time and never had an issue with sending a mineral sample. If the buyer has any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask.

The seller accepts no liability for mishandling of mineral samples or damage during shipment. Research proper handling of radioactive minerals prior to ordering. Common courtesy would imply that one inform roommates, parents, landlord, etc. of such material being present in the home. We do ship all mineral specimens as safely and securely as humanly possible and have much experience doing so. Accidents do happen. For extra delicate and expensive specimens, we provide and recommend the option for an increased insurance level on the shipping whenever possible to cover any damages. This must be expressed upon the payment of the invoice. We do not accept returns. Be certain you want the specimen you are bidding on. We take as many pictures as possible and include accurate measurements, weight, and descriptions. We are a very small family business so we simply cannot absorb the loss of time and money that it takes to process a return. If something breaks during shipment, it is the buyers responsibility to file a claim with the shipping company. We take pictures of everything we send and the condition it is in. If a specimen arrives broken, take many pictures and have proof of the amount paid to seek reimbursement from shipping company. International is not covered by insurance. If there is a question regarding these policies or about a mineral sample, we are open to all communication and will usually respond within 24 hours whenever possible. Readings for Radioactive Minerals are taken with a scintillator device. Radiacode 103 scintillator device is placed on the specimen to read the highest area of activity. This reading can vary greatly with other instruments. Cheap geiger counters will read significantly less. UV minerals are pictures with a 365 nm UV light. Regular 295 nm black lights may not cause the same glowing reaction. Regular pictures are under natural or white led lights.
