Extremely dark purple fluorite from Frohnau in the Erzgebirge Mountains is one of the most sought-after color types in the world of fluorites. This older specimen consists exclusively of fluorite, which reaches a crystal size of up to 2.0 cm. The surface is shiny and partially slightly parquetized.
