Description

A massive crystal specimen of princivalleite, displaying a pale blue to bluish-grey coloration, typical of this rare sodic amphibole species. The mineral occurs as compact crystalline masses, without well-developed individual crystals, but with a clearly visible internal crystalline structure.

The surface shows a granular to slightly fibrous texture, with translucent zones alternating with more opaque areas, reflecting uneven crystal growth. The bluish tones are enhanced by a light-colored silicate-rich matrix, which contrasts nicely with the cool hue of the princivalleite.
