Description

Attractive micromount specimen featuring a bright native gold aggregate embedded in a pale, massive quartz matrix. The gold occurs as an irregular, flattened leafy to hackly mass, showing a strong metallic luster and rich brass-yellow color, with visible surface textures typical of ductile, malleable native Au. The piece is well-exposed in a small vuggy area of the quartz, with minor iron-oxide staining enhancing the overall contrast
