Description

Very attractive micromount specimen featuring a well-formed twinned chrysoberyl (BeAl₂O₄) crystal from the classic Brazilian locality of Colatina. The crystal displays a distinct contact / cyclic twinning (typical chrysoberyl habit), giving the specimen its characteristic pseudo-hexagonal outline. Color is a warm honey to champagne yellow, with a vitreous luster and good translucency. Faces are sharp and well-defined, with minor growth features and natural internal zoning visible under strong light

Recently all my padded letters came all back to me, in fact, they are normally only for "gifts" so they are not going through customs anymore (and warned me of a fee ..).
