Description

At the center of the specimen lies a white crystalline aggregate of kolbeckite, forming a finely striated rosette that stands out clearly against the richly colored matrix.

The crystal displays a very fine lamellar structure, composed of numerous tabular blades arranged radially. This arrangement gives the aggregate a circular flower-like appearance, with distinctly serrated edges formed by the terminations of the individual blades.

The kolbeckite, pure white to slightly translucent, contrasts strongly with the orange-brown to ochre-yellow matrix, made of secondary mineral coatings with botryoidal textures. Dark inclusions or deposits are also visible near the center of the crystal, likely related to other mineral phases present in the cavity.
