Description

Superb-quality micromount featuring a group of deep ruby-red to dark red cuprite crystals displaying remarkable transparency and a strong adamantine to submetallic luster. The well-formed crystals show sharp reflective faces, creating a striking and highly aesthetic crystal aggregate.

The crystals grow on a reddish-brown copper oxide matrix typical of the deposit, with lighter areas enhancing the contrast and highlighting the intense color of the cuprite. Under light, the crystals reveal exceptional depth of color due to their translucency.
