Description

Attractive micromount specimen displaying a well-formed torbernite crystal from the famous Margabal Mine, one of the classic French localities for uranium minerals.

The specimen features a distinct tabular crystal with the characteristic square faces typical of torbernite. The crystal shows a vivid emerald-green color, slightly translucent, with a bright vitreous luster highlighting the internal structure of the mineral. Fine growth steps can be observed on the crystal faces, indicating a well-developed crystallization.
