Description

A striking specimen of crystallized pyrolusite from the well-known locality of Berbes, famous for its diverse mineral assemblages.

The pyrolusite occurs as well-developed lamellar and acicular crystals, forming radiating and intergrown aggregates. The crystals display strong striations and a characteristic bladed texture.

Color ranges from steel-grey to deep black, with a bright metallic luster that highlights the crystal edges and enhances the three-dimensional structure.

Some crystals appear as elongated blades, while others form compact bundles, creating a dynamic and visually appealing composition.
