Description

Nice crystals of ferrierite from the type locality (the greater Santa Monica Mountains).  This specimen features white needles and puffballs on matrix.   From the collection of Robert F. Ray, a prominent collector in the region.   This specimen was undated but other specimens from Kanan Road in his collection were dated in the early 1970's.
