Description

Chervetite is a secondary mineral belonging to the phosphate, arsenate, and vanadate mineral class. It was first described in 1963 and named in honor of the French mineralogist Jean Chervet (1904–1962). The mineral forms whitish-yellow crusts composed of tiny crystals.
