Description

This single-sided polished Barite specimen from the Lubin Mine is characterised by a radiating habit. On the unpolished side, the honey-orange Barite rosettes are sprinkled with tiny Marcasite crystals. This surface exhibits a silky lustre. The opposite side is polished, revealing intricate concentric growth zoning in shades of cream, tan, and brown. Under 365 nm UV light, the mineralisation exhibits a distinct, bright fluorescence in a cream-yellow colour.
