Description

A dense, botryoidal coating of Uraninite from the Příbram locality. The mineral exhibits a characteristic pitch-black colour and a greasy to submetallic lustre. The surface is composed of numerous small, rounded aggregates typical of the "pitchblende" variety. The dark mineralisation is hosted on a light-coloured crystalline matrix, providing a sharp contrast against the reddish-brown host rock.
